The sky and its galaxies.
(۸۵:۱)
آسمان و کهکشانهایش.
[85:3]
The witness and the witnessed.
[85:4]
Woe to the people of the canyon.
[85:5]
They ignited a blazing fire.
(۸۵:۵)
آنها آتشی فروزان روشن کردند.
[85:6]
Then sat around it.
(۸۵:۶)
سپس دور آن نشستند.
[85:7]
To watch the burning of the believers.
(۸۵:۷)
تا سوختن مؤمنان را تماشا کنند.
[85:8]
They hated them for no other reason than believing in GOD, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.
(۸۵:۸)
آنها از ایشان متنفر بودند، فقط به خاطر اینکه آنها به خدا ایمان داشتند، بزرگوار، شایسته ستایش.
[85:9]
To Him belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth. And GOD witnesses all things.
(۸۵:۹)
از آن او است سلطنت آسمانها و زمین. و خدا بر همه چیز شاهد است.
[85:10]
Surely, those who persecute the believing men and women, then fail to repent, have incurred the retribution of Gehenna; they have incurred the retribution of burning.
(۸۵:۱۰)
مطمئناً، کسانی که مردان و زنان باایمان را آزار دهند، سپس در توبه کردن کوتاهی کنند، سزاوار عذاب جهنم شدهاند؛ آنها به عذاب سوختن گرفتار شدهاند.
[85:11]
Surely, those who believed and led a righteous life, have deserved gardens with flowing streams. This is the greatest triumph.
(۸۵:۱۱)
مطمئناً، کسانی که ایمان آوردند و زندگی پرهیزکارانهای را در پیش گرفتند، سزاوار باغهایی با نهرهای جاری شدهاند. این بزرگترین پیروزی است.

Indeed, your Lord's blow is severe.
(۸۵:۱۲)
به درستی که، ضربه پروردگارت شدید است.
[85:13]
He is the One who initiates and repeats.
(۸۵:۱۳)
او آن یکتایی است که آغاز می‌کند و تکرار می‌کند.
[85:14]
And He is the Forgiving, Most Kind.
(۸۵:۱۴)
و او عفو کننده است، مهربانترین.
[85:15]
Possessor of the glorious throne.
[85:16]
Doer of whatever He wills.
(۸۵:۱۶)
انجام دهنده هر چه که بخواهد.
[85:17]
Did you note the history of the troops?
(۸۵:۱۷)
آیا به تاریخ آن سپاهیان توجه کردهای؟
[85:18]
Pharaoh and Thamûd?
[85:19]
Those who disbelieve are plagued with denial.
(۸۵:۱۹)
کسانی که ایمان ندارند به بلای تکذیب گرفتار شدهاند.
[85:20]
GOD is fully aware of them.
(۸۵:۲۰)
خدا کاملاً به ایشان آگاه است.
[85:21]
Indeed, it is a glorious Quran.
(۸۵:۲۱)
به درستی که، این قرآن مجید است.
[85:22]
