[19:1] K. H. Y. 'A. S.* (Kãf Hã Yã 'Ayn Sãd)
*19:1 This is the maximum number of Quranic Initials, because this sura deals with such crucial matters as the miraculous birth of John and the virgin birth of Jesus, and strongly condemns the gross blasphemy that considers Jesus to be a son of God. The five initials provide a powerful physical evidence to support these issues (See Appendices 1 & 22).

* ۱۹:۱ اين پاراف قرآنى بيشترين حروف را در بر دارد، چون اين سوره مربوط به موضوعات حساسى مانند تولد معجزه آساى يحيى، و تولد عيسى از زن باکره است، و به شدت کفرى که عيسى را پسر خدا قرار ميدهد، محکوم ميکند. اين پاراف پنج حرفى شواهد عينى محکمى جهت حمايت از اين موضوعات فراهم مى آورد (به ضميمه هاى ۱ و ۲۲ توجه کنيد).
[19:4] He said, "My Lord, the bones have turned brittle in my body, and my hair is aflame with gray. As I implore You, my Lord, I never despair.
(۱۹:۴) او گفت، "پروردگار من، استخوانهای بدنم پوک شدهاند، و موهایم خاکستری. هنگامی که به تو دعا می‌کنم، پروردگارم، هرگز مأیوس نمی‌شوم.
[19:5] "I worry about my dependants after me, and my wife has been sterile. Grant me, from You, an heir.
[19:7] "O Zachariah, we give you good news; a boy whose name shall be John (Yahya). We never created anyone like him before."
(۱۹:۷) ای زکریا، ما به تو خبر خوشی می‌دهیم؛ پسری که اسمش یحیی باشد. ما هرگز کسی مانند او نیافریدیم.
[19:9] He said, "Thus said your Lord: 'It is easy for Me to do. I created you before that, and you were nothing.'"
(۱۹:۹) او گفت، "چنین گفت پروردگارت: "انجام آن برای من ساده است. من تو را از قبل از آن خلق کردم، و تو هیچ بودی.""
[19:10] He said, "My Lord, give me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three consecutive nights."
(۱۹:۱۰) او گفت، "پروردگار من، نشانهای به من بده." او گفت، "نشانه تو این باشد که سه شب پیاپی با مردم صحبت نخواهی کرد."
[19:11] He came out to his family, from the sanctuary, and signaled to them: "Meditate (on God) day and night."
(۱۹:۱۱) او از محراب بیرون آمد نزد خانوادهاش، و به آنها با اشاره فهماند: "روز و شب (خدا را) به تفکر و نیایش بپردازید."
[19:12] "O John, you shall uphold the scripture, strongly." We endowed him with wisdom, even in his youth.
(۱۹:۱۲) "ای یحیی، تو باید از کتاب آسمانی شدیداً حمایت کنی." ما به او حکمت عطا کردیم، حتی در جوانی او.
[19:15] Peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is resurrected back to life.
(۱۹:۱۵) صلح بر او آن روز که بدنیا آمد، آن روز که بمیرد، و آن روز که او دوباره به حیات برانگیخته شود.
[19:16] Mention in the scripture Mary. She isolated herself from her family, into an eastern location.
[19:17] While a barrier separated her from them, we sent to her our Spirit. He went to her in the form of a human being.
(۱۹:۱۷) در حالی که حایلی او را از آنها جدا می‌کرد، ما روحمان را نزد او فرستادیم. او بشکل بشری نزد او رفت.
(۱۹:۲۰) او گفت، "چطور می‌توانم پسری داشته باشم، در حالی که هرگز مردی با من تماس نداشته است؛ من هرگز بیعفت نبودهام."
[19:21] He said, "Thus said your Lord, 'It is easy for Me. We will render him a sign for the people, and mercy from us. This is a predestined matter.'"
(۱۹:۲۱) او گفت، "چنین گفت پروردگارت، "این کار برای من ساده است. ما او را نشانهای برای مردم قرار خواهیم داد، و رحمتی از طرف ما. این موضوعی است که از پیش مقدر شده است.""
[19:23] The birth process came to her by the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "(I am so ashamed;) I wish I were dead before this happened, and completely forgotten."
(۱۹:۲۳) وضع حمل او نزدیک تنه درخت خرمایی انجام گرفت. او گفت، "(من بسیار خجالتزدهام؛) ای کاش مرده بودم، قبل از اینکه این پیش آید، و کاملاً فراموش شده."
[19:24] (The infant) called her from beneath her, saying, "Do not grieve. Your Lord has provided you with a stream.
(۱۹:۲۴) (کودک) او را از زیرش ندا داد، می‌گفت، "اندوهگین نباش. پروردگارت جوی آبی برای تو فراهم کرده است.
[19:25] "If you shake the trunk of this palm tree, it will drop ripe dates for you.*
*19:25 Thus, Jesus was born in late September or early October. This is when dates ripen in the Middle East to the point of falling off the tree.
(۱۹:۲۵) "اگر تنه این درخت خرما را تکان دهی، خرماهای رسیده برای تو خواهد ریخت."
* ۱۹:۲۵ بنابراين، عيسى در اواخر شهريور ماه يا اوايل مهر ماه بدنيا آمده بود. اين موقعى است که خرما در خاورميانه ميرسد، تا جاييکه خودش از درخت ميافتد.
[19:26] "Eat and drink, and be happy. When you see anyone, say, 'I have made a vow of silence; I am not talking today to anyone.'"
(۱۹:۲۶) "بخور و بنوش، و خوشحال باش. هر وقت کسی را دیدی، بگو، "من عهد کردهام که سکوت کنم؛ من امروز با کسی صحبت نمی‌کنم.""
[19:27] She came to her family, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have committed something that is totally unexpected.
(۱۹:۲۷) او نزد خانوادهاش آمد، در حالی که او را در بغل داشت. آنها گفتند، "ای مریم، تو مرتکب عملی شدهای که کاملاً غیر منتظره بود.
[19:29] She pointed to him. They said, "How can we talk with an infant in the crib?"
(۱۹:۲۹) او (مریم) اشاره کرد به او. آنها گفتند، "چطور می‌توانیم با نوزاد در گهواره صحبت کنیم؟"
[19:30] (The infant spoke and) said, "I am a servant of GOD. He has given me the scripture, and has appointed me a prophet.
(۱۹:۳۰) (نوزاد صحبت کرد و) گفت، "من بنده خدا هستم. او به من کتاب آسمانی داده است، و من را پیغمبر تعیین کرده است.
[19:31] "He made me blessed wherever I go, and enjoined me to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat) for as long as I live.
(۱۹:۳۱) "هر کجا که می‌روم، او به من برکت داد، و به من سفارش کرد تا دعای ارتباطی (نماز) بجا آورم و انفاق واجب (زکات) بدهم، تا وقتی که زنده هستم.
[19:34] That was Jesus, the son of Mary, and this is the truth of this matter, about which they continue to doubt.
(۱۹:۳۴) چنین بود عیسی، پسر مریم، و این حقیقت این موضوع است، که هنوز درباره آن شک دارند.
[19:35] It does not befit GOD that He begets a son, be He glorified. To have anything done, He simply says to it, "Be," and it is.
(۱۹:۳۵) شایسته خدا نیست که او پسری داشته باشد، ستایش او را. برای انجام هر امری، او فقط به آن میگوید، "باش"، و آن هست.
[19:36] He also proclaimed, "GOD is my Lord and your Lord; you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."*
*19:36 This is similar to the statement attributed to Jesus in the Gospel of John 20:17.
(۱۹:۳۶) او همچنین اعلام داشت، "خدا پروردگار من و پروردگار شما است؛ شما باید تنها او را پرستش کنید. این راه راست است."

[19:37] The various parties disputed among themselves (regarding the identity of Jesus). Therefore, woe to those who disbelieve from the sight of a terrible day.
(۱۹:۳۷) گروههای مختلف در میان خود (در باره هویت عیسی) اختلاف کردند. بنابراین، وای بر کسانی که ایمان ندارند از مشاهده روزی سخت.
[19:38] Wait till you hear them and see them when they come to face us. The transgressors on that day will be totally lost.
(۱۹:۳۸) صبر کن تا آنها را بشنوی و ببینی هنگامی که می‌آیند تا با ما روبرو شوند. متجاوزین در آن روز کاملاً سردرگم خواهند بود.
[19:39] Warn them about the day of remorse, when judgment will be issued. They are totally oblivious; they do not believe.
(۱۹:۳۹) در باره آن روز پشیمانی به آنها هشدار بده، زمانی که قضاوت انجام می‌شود. آنها کاملاً غافل هستند؛ آنها ایمان نمی‌آورند.
[19:42] He said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear, nor see, nor help you in any way?
(۱۹:۴۲) او به پدرش گفت، "ای پدر من، چرا چیزی را پرستش می‌کنی که نه می‌شنود، و نه می‌بیند، و نه می‌تواند هیچگونه کمکی به تو کند؟
[19:43] "O my father, I have received certain knowledge that you did not receive. Follow me, and I will guide you in a straight path.
(۱۹:۴۳) "ای پدر من، من دانش خاصی دریافت کردهام که تو دریافت نکردی. از من پیروی کن، و من تو را به راه راست هدایت خواهم کرد.
[19:45] "O my father, I fear lest you incur retribution from the Most Gracious, then become an ally of the devil."
[19:46] He said, "Have you forsaken my gods, O Abraham? Unless you stop, I will stone you. Leave me alone."
(۱۹:۴۶) او گفت، "آیا خدایان من را رها کردهای، ای ابراهیم؟ اگر دست برنداری، تو را سنگسار خواهم کرد. من را تنها بگذار."
[19:47] He said, "Peace be upon you. I will implore my Lord to forgive you; He has been Most Kind to me.
(۱۹:۴۷) او گفت، "صلح بر تو. من پروردگارم را دعا خواهم کرد تا تو را ببخشد؛ او نسبت به من مهربانترین بوده است.
[19:48] "I will abandon you and the gods you worship besides GOD. I will worship only my Lord. By imploring my Lord alone, I cannot go wrong."
(۱۹:۴۸) "من شما و خدایانی را که در کنار خدا پرستش می‌کنید، ترک خواهم کرد. من فقط پروردگارم را پرستش خواهم کرد. با دعا به تنها پروردگارم، اشتباه نخواهم کرد."
[19:49] Because he abandoned them and the gods they worshiped beside GOD, we granted him Isaac and Jacob, and we made each of them a prophet.
(۱۹:۴۹) چون او آنها و خدایانی را که آنها در کنار خدا پرستش می‌کردند، ترک کرد، ما به او اسحاق و یعقوب را عطا کردیم، و ما هر یک از آنها را پیغمبری قرار دادیم.
[19:54] And mention in the scripture Ismail. He was truthful when he made a promise, and he was a messenger prophet.
(۱۹:۵۴) و در کتاب آسمانی به اسماعیل اشاره کن. هنگامی که او قول می‌داد، راستگو بود، و او رسول پیغمبری بود.
[19:55] He used to enjoin his family to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat); he was acceptable to his Lord.
(۱۹:۵۵) او خانوادهاش را به دعای ارتباطی (نماز) و دادن انفاق واجب (زکات) سفارش می‌کرد؛ او قابل قبول پروردگارش بود.
[19:58] These are some of the prophets whom GOD blessed. They were chosen from among the descendants of Adam, and the descendants of those whom we carried with Noah, and the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom we guided and selected. When the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they fall prostrate, weeping.
(۱۹:۵۸) اینها بعضی از پیغمبران هستند که خدا به آنها نعمت عطا داد. آنها از میان نوادگان آدم، و نوادگان کسانی که ما با نوح حمل کردیم، و نوادگان ابراهیم و اسراییل، و از میان کسانی که ما آنها را هدایت کردیم و برگزیدیم، انتخاب شده بودند. هنگامی که آیات بخشندهترین برایشان خوانده می‌شود، گریهکنان به سجده می‌افتد.
[19:59] After them, He substituted generations who lost the Contact Prayers (Salat), and pursued their lusts. They will suffer the consequences.
(۱۹:۵۹) بعد از آنها، او نسلهایی جانشین ساخت که دعای ارتباطی (نماز) را گم کردند، و به دنبال شهوات خود رفتند. آنها از نتایج آن رنج خواهند برد.
[19:60] Only those who repent, believe, and lead a righteous life will enter Paradise, without the least injustice.
(۱۹:۶۰) فقط کسانی که توبه کنند، ایمان آورند، و زندگی پرهیزکارانهای را در پیش گیرند، بدون هیچگونه بیعدالتی داخل پردیس خواهند شد.
[19:61] The gardens of Eden await them, as promised by the Most Gracious for those who worship Him, even in privacy. Certainly, His promise must come to pass.
(۱۹:۶۱) باغهای عدن منتظر آنها است، همانطور که به واسطه بخشندهترین به کسانی که او را حتی در خلوت پرستش می‌کنند، وعده داده شده است. مسلماً، وعده او باید انجام گیرد.
[19:62] They will not hear any nonsense therein; only peace. They receive their provisions therein, day and night.
(۱۹:۶۲) آنها هرگز در آنجا سخن بیهودهای نخواهند شنید؛ فقط صلح. آنها روزیشان را در آن، روز و شب، دریافت می‌کنند.
[19:64] We do not come down except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs our past, our future, and everything between them. Your Lord is never forgetful.
(۱۹:۶۴) ما پایین نمی‌آییم مگر به امر پروردگارت. گذشته ما، آینده ما، و هر چه در میان آنها است از آن او است. پروردگارت هرگز فراموشکار نیست.
[19:65] The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them; you shall worship Him and steadfastly persevere in worshiping Him. Do you know of anyone who equals Him?
(۱۹:۶۵) پروردگار آسمانها و زمین، و هر چه در بین آنها است؛ باید او را پرستش کنی و در پرستش او ثابتقدمانه استقامت داشته باشی. آیا کسی را می‌شناسی که با او برابر باشد؟
[19:68] By your Lord, we will certainly summon them, together with the devils, and will gather them around Hell, humiliated.
(۱۹:۶۸) به پروردگارت قسم، ما مسلماً آنها را احضار خواهیم کرد، همراه با شیاطین، و آنها را در اطراف جهنم گردهم خواهیم آورد، خوار شده.
[19:71] Every single one of you must see it; this is an irrevocable decision of your Lord.
*19:71 As detailed in Appendix 11, we will be resurrected prior to God's physical arrival to our universe. That will be a temporary taste of Hell, since the absence of God is Hell. When God comes (89:22), the righteous will be rescued. See 19:72.
(۱۹:۷۱) هر یک از شما باید آن را ببیند؛ این تصمیم اجتنابناپذیر پروردگارت است.
* ۱۹:۷۱ همانطور که در ضميمه ۱۱ توضيح داده شده است، قل از اينکه وجود جسمى خدا به جهان ما بيايد، ما برانگيخته خواهيم شد. از آنجاييکه نبودن خدا جهنم است، پس آن مزه موقتى جهنم خواهد بود. هنگاميکه خدامى آيد (۸۹:۲۲)، پرهيزکاران نجات خواهند يافت. به آيه ۱۹:۷۲ توجه کنيد.
[19:73] When our revelations are recited to them, clearly, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of us is more prosperous? Which of us is in the majority?"
(۱۹:۷۳) هنگامی که آیات ما برایشان بطور وضوح خوانده می‌شود، کسانی که ایمان ندارند به کسانی که ایمان دارند می‌گویند، "کدامیک از ما مرفهتر است؟ کدامیک از ما در اکثریت است؟"
[19:74] Many a generation have we annihilated before them; they were more powerful, and more prosperous.
[19:75] Say, "Those who choose to go astray, the Most Gracious will lead them on, until they see what is promised for them—either the retribution or the Hour. That is when they find out who really is worse off, and weaker in power."
(۱۹:۷۵) بگو، "کسانی که گمراهی را انتخاب می‌کنند، بخشندهترین آنها را به همان راه می‌راند، تا اینکه آنچه را به ایشان وعده داده شده است، ببینند-یا عذاب، یا آن ساعت را. آنوقت است که آنها متوجه می‌شوند چه کسی واقعاً در بدترین موقعیت است، و ضعیفتر از نظر قدرت."
[19:76] GOD augments the guidance of those who choose to be guided. For the good deeds are eternally rewarded by your Lord, and bring far better returns.
(۱۹:۷۶) خدا هدایت کسانی را که می‌خواهند هدایت شوند، زیادتر می‌کند. زیرا کارهای خوب نزد پروردگارت پاداشی جاودانی دریافت می‌دارد، و نتایج بسیار بهتری ببار می‌آورد.
[19:77] Have you noted the one who rejected our revelations then said, "I will be given wealth and children"?!
(۱۹:۷۷) آیا توجه کردهای به کسی که آیات ما را رد کرد، سپس گفت، "به من ثروت و فرزندان داده خواهد شد"؟!
(۱۹:۷۹) به درستی که، ما آنچه را میگوید، ضبط خواهیم کرد، سپس او را به عذابی که رفته رفته افزایش می‌یابد گرفتار می‌کنیم.
[19:82] On the contrary; they will reject their idolatry, and will be their enemies.
(۱۹:۸۲) برعکس، آنها بُتپرستیشان را رد می‌کنند، و دشمنانشان خواهند شد.
[19:87] No one will possess the power to intercede, except those who conform to the laws of the Most Gracious.
[19:90] The heavens are about to shatter, the earth is about to tear asunder, and the mountains are about to crumble.
(۱۹:۹۰) نزدیک است آسمانها خُرد شوند، نزدیک است زمین تکه و پاره شود، و نزدیک است کوهها متلاشی شوند.
[19:96] Surely, those who believe and lead a righteous life, the Most Gracious will shower them with love.
(۱۹:۹۶) مسلماً، کسانی که ایمان آورند و زندگی پرهیزکارانهای را در پیش گیرند، بخشندهترین باران محبت را بر ایشان خواهد بارید.
[19:97] We thus made this (Quran) elucidated in your tongue, in order to deliver good news to the righteous, and to warn with it the opponents.
(۱۹:۹۷) ما اینچنین این (قرآن) را به زبان تو واضح و روشن ساختیم، تا به پرهیزکاران خبر خوش دهی، و با آن به مخالفین هشدار دهی.
[19:98] Many a generation before them we annihilated; can you perceive any of them, or hear from them any sound?
(۱۹:۹۸) ما نسلهای بسیاری قبل از ایشان را هلاک کردیم؛ آیا می‌توانی هیچیک از آنها را ببینی، یا صدایی از آنها بشنوی؟
